Bundesliga 27th matchday, Saturday, 29/03/2025 at 6:30 pm
Is Eintracht Frankfurt somehow cheating their way into the Champions League despite not performing all that well? Almost half of the teams in our 1st Bundesliga tips have a chance of making it to the top flight, because behind Bayern and Leverkusen, things are not going particularly consistently.
Also because in my Frankfurt VfB Stuttgart betting tip, a guest team appears that doesn’t want to find its way back to the form of the previous season. You could almost say that the Swabians are in crisis. Will the winless streak end on Saturday evening? I don’t think so!
At the same time, however, the eagles only convince me to a limited extent; they rarely find themselves in constant phases. All in all, this can only mean one thing: I’m not at all sure whether there will be a winner in the game on Saturday.
In this respect, I’m betting on a draw. Since the odds are always relatively high, I have to back this up with a few facts, of course. I just want to briefly note: three of the last four direct duels on Hessian soil ended in a draw.
In terms of football, both Frankfurt and Stuttgart have a lot to offer, but often it’s the implementation that’s lacking. So, will we see a 0-0 or a 4-4? I wouldn’t rule out either from the outset!
The betting providers’ prediction?
Frankfurt play at home, but the odds barely reflect the home advantage. This means that we are offered average odds of 2.35 for a home win.
On the other hand, Stuttgart have not won in five games. So it doesn’t look too bad if the odds for an away game in Frankfurt are targeted at an average of 2.80.
A draw wouldn’t help either team, but VfB have already drawn five times away from home. In addition, direct duels in Frankfurt, more on this later, are actually always very close. Therefore, keep an eye on the odds for a draw (3.70)!
AI prediction Frankfurt vs VfB Stuttgart: ChatGPT’s tip for that
After the international break, ChatGPT is also happy to receive my requests again. I’ve had three bets spit out for this interesting game too, and I can reveal that the tips are anything but wrong this time.
In the outcome betting, we are dealing with a 2-2 tie. VfB has already played 2-2 away from home three times. Although the most recent draws between the two teams were more like 1-1, I still think a 2-2 tie is entirely realistic.
The bet “Over 3.5 goals”, which the AI suggests to me as a medium-risk tip, is synonymous with this. In six of the last eight games, Stuttgart conceded more than one goal, which in itself supports the offensive approach.
And finally, we come to the absolute classic, the “both teams score”. Stuttgart has kept four clean sheets, Frankfurt five, so there’s really no way around this bet.
Analysis: Frankfurt vs VfB Stuttgart
It’s the worst phase under Sebastian Hoeneß – and yet VfB Stuttgart announced a few days ago: We have extended our contract with our coach! Hoeneß took over in April 2023, when the club had not won under Bruno Labbadia for five consecutive games.
That’s exactly what happened to VfB. 1-2 against Wolfsburg, 1-1 against Hoffenheim, 1-3 against Bayern, 2-2 against Kiel and 3-4 against Leverkusen. It just doesn’t work anymore.
Particularly bitter: Against Bayer, they were already 3-1 ahead, the fourth goal against came virtually with the final whistle. Lost leads are currently one of the main topics in the region.
13 points squandered in five games – that has never happened before! A lead did not hold for five consecutive matches, and the club gave up a total of 18 points. Most of all teams, Frankfurt is ranked third in this list with 14 points.
Odds analysis
Five times in a row, Stuttgart was unable to hold a lead. In line with this, you can stick with it and say: The Swabians will score the first goal of the game on Saturday. Betano offers odds of 2.05 for you.
Twelve goals have been scored in the last six SGE games, and that was before half-time. If this trend continues and the 1.5 goals are cracked in the first 45 minutes at the weekend, we are looking at odds of 2.30.
In addition to the 2-2 draw for the AI, I would also like to recommend the 1-1 result bet, because three of the last four duels in Frankfurt ended in this way. With odds of 7.90, the corresponding odds are also a good bit lower.
Frankfurt vs. VfB Stuttgart: Away from home, it’s easier for VfB
One win in the last eight games is currently only enough for tenth place. They are five points behind fifth place. Since there is hardly any consistency in the entire Bundesliga, the chances of winning a European club competition are still there.
Curious: Especially at home, where VfB was almost unbeatable in 2023/24, everything is going wrong now. The Swabians may not be a force to be reckoned with away from home either, but they have only lost one of their last eight matches.
By the way: At Betano, the €20 Betano no deposit bonus is waiting for you after verification. Just click on the graphic and enter the bonus code BONUSVIP when registering.
Nevertheless, I have to note, of course. Trips to Kiel or Hoffenheim, they have to get three points in the end and not just one. In nine of twelve away games, it was definitely 0-0 at half time.
Accordingly, you can consider this bet at Winamax. If the tip is right, you will be rewarded with odds of 2.35. Last season, Stuttgart won both duels against Frankfurt.
Anything is possible in Frankfurt
It’s worth mentioning because that’s exactly what hadn’t happened in the nine previous games. However, it seems that the brief resurgence has already been squashed, as Stuttgart lost 3-2 in the first leg.
In 18 of the last 22 games, both teams scored, including nine of the last ten games in Frankfurt. 2-1, 1-1, 1-1, 1-1, if you want to see it positively, it is noticeable that VfB have not lost in four away games.
Or, from Frankfurt’s point of view: they need their first home win since 2019! Interestingly, then, like now, the match was played on the 27th matchday. The game took place on March 31, but this year it’s just two days earlier.
After three defeats in a row (0-4 at Bayern, 1-4 at Leverkusen and 1-2 at Union Berlin), Eintracht have found their way back on track. The 3-1 win against Bochum should now be gilded accordingly.
I’m still not so sure about this one, because: the Eagles have only won two of their last eight games, and their opponents were not the toughest with Bochum and Kiel.
Nobody is satisfied with just one win from their last four home games. Recently, for the first time this season, there were even two defeats in a row, which resulted in a total of six goals conceded.
It doesn’t help that SGE has already scored 17 different goals, the best in the league. At VfB, the goals are shared by 16 players, which, together with Bayern and Leverkusen, is in second place.
With a chance utilization of 48%, the Hessians are doing quite well, with 81 big chances (Stuttgart even had 86).
My Frankfurt VfB Stuttgart Tip:
Are you really satisfied with this second half of the season? Stuttgart and Frankfurt are definitely not both. At VfB, the phase can certainly be described as a crisis; never before has there been such a long wait for a win under Sebastian Hoeneß.
At least things are going much better away from home, with seven of the last eight games not being lost. Frankfurt, on the other hand, have to respond to their two home defeats, Stuttgart is neither a favorite nor a feared opponent.
In my opinion, two teams are meeting here that are absolutely on an equal footing. I don’t want to commit to a winner, which is why I’m going for the following bet:
Stuttgart and Frankfurt share the points!
