As expected, Mitchell Weiser will remain with Werder Bremen beyond the summer. The 32-year-old has extended his expiring contract, the Bundesliga club announced on Saturday morning, but without giving details of the new contract period. Weiser has been playing for Werder since 2021 and has since made 123 appearances (14 goals). However, he missed the past season completely due to injury.
