Tennis tips today – Matches today from 25.04.
The next big tournament is just around the corner! Our tennis stars are currently preparing for the French Open, and the Mutua Masters in Madrid is a very important test.
Double defending champion Carlos Alcaraz is the favorite here together with Jannik Sinner, but of course the German fans also think they have a chance of winning. Of course: Only Alexander Zverev is really in the running here
In our tennis tips today, however, we will first look at the players who have to play the first round and do not have the benefit of a walk-through at the start.
And lo and behold: we not only have two German stars and an Austrian on offer, but also the record champion of the Masters, Rafael Nadal! So there’s no question that there’s no shortage of excitement on this early day of the tournament
Tennis tips today – 25.04.2024
From a German perspective, of course, we’re not just looking at Alexander Zverev. Yannick Hanfmann doesn’t want to pack his bags after the first round, but to do so he has to win against Jakub Mensik.
Of course, Rafael Nadal will be in the spotlight at home. The former champion wants to show everyone once again, and Darwin Blach should not be the reason for his failure in the first round.
The last few months have been a constant up and down for Sebastian Ofner. The Austrian is hoping for a strong Masters, but has been presented with a challenging opponent in Pedro Cachin.
And another German starter will take to the court on Thursday, Dominik Koepfer. The last few weeks have not been particularly successful, so it is all the more important now to prevail against Roberto Carballes-Baena
Tennis tips for today’s broadcast: Where are the matches on 25.04.?
The Masters in Madrid is of course not just any tournament, but one of great importance. That’s why the Sky team has made its way to the Spanish capital and will be reporting live from there.
Tennis betting today 25.04.: Yannick Hanfmann – Jakub Mensik (18:10)
How good is Yannick Hanfmann’s form? In the last few weeks he has usually been eliminated very early, in Munich he lost to Marc-Andrea Hüsler. Maybe he can do better in Madrid, after all he made it to round 3 at his debut in 2023.
His opponent, Jakub Mensik, has recently achieved similar results, but in Qatar he attracted attention with wins over Andy Murray and Andrej Rublev and reached the final (narrow defeat to Karen Khachanov).
Our expert tip: Victory Mensik
Tennis tips today 25.04.: Darwin Blanch – Rafael Nadal (16:00)
He’s slowly fighting his way back, once again! Rafael Nadal has already won the Masters in Madrid five times, but of course he is not one of the favorites this time. A few days ago in Barcelona, he returned to the court after a month-long break.
He lost heavily to Alex de Minaur and now wants to do better against Darwin Blanch. The US-American is only 16 years old and will certainly never forget the match against Nadal. So far, his attention has been focused on the ITF Tour, so it’s no wonder that he is seen as a clear underdog with odds of 23.0 to 1.01, and not just in the Betway app.
Our expert tip: Set win Blanch
Tennis bets today 25.04.: Pedro Cachin – Sebastian Ofner (17:00)
Two wins in a row? Sebastian Ofner has never managed that this year! The Austrian shows good signs, but is unable to perform consistently over the course of a few days. Most recently in Barcelona, he narrowly failed to beat Stefanos Tsitsipas.
He is competing in the main draw for the first time ever in Madrid, facing Pedro Cachin. The Argentinian’s problem: he hasn’t won a single match this year! So it’s no wonder that Ofner is listed as the favorite with odds of 1.46 to 2.60.
Our expert tip: Sief Ofner
Tennis betting today 25.04.: Dominik Koepfer – Roberto Carballes-Baena (21:45)
Three times in a row out in the 1st round? Dominik Koepfer had imagined it to be very different! Things are no longer running smoothly, he is now taking part in Madrid for only the second time since 2021 (out in round 2).
He’s up against Roberto Carballes-Baena and is considered the underdog with odds of 2.30 to 1.55. After losing the final in Marrakesh, the Spaniard reached the round of 16 in Barcelona, where he beat Lorenzo Musetti, among others.
Our expert tip: Victory Carballes-Baena
