As Fenerbahce Istanbul announced on Thursday, the contract with midfielder Talisca has been terminated prematurely. The 32-year-old Brazilian joined Fener from Al-Nassr in January 2025 and was quite convincing, 38 goals in 68 competitive games are impressive. Nevertheless, he had to go, also because Fener apparently hopes for financial relief through the departure of a top earner. In addition, due to the strict foreigner regulations in the Süper Lig, his sporting prospects would have become smaller. Most recently, there had been rumours about a move to Al-Jazira Abu Dhabi.
