Last season, Enzo Barrenechea was loaned from Aston Villa to Valencia, where he made 30 appearances in La Liga. The Villans were apparently unable to offer the Argentine sufficient playing time, so they have loaned the 24-year-old out again for the coming season, this time to Benfica Lisbon in Portugal.
