“Goal within 15 minutes” at 3.05, for example, is for fans of a quick start. Sure, in the last match, the 1-0 came just before half-time, but with lots of new attacking players, things could kick off quickly this time.

“Arsenal to win” at 2.00 looks solid, even if it’s not my personal favorite. The statistics speak for themselves: 14 away games in a row unbeaten, seven wins and seven draws. You don’t build a streak like that by accident.
“United over 0.5 goals” at 1.40 is the sensible choice. At home at Old Trafford, there are many reasons to believe that the hosts will score at least once – and maybe even score the first goal of the evening! I like this suggestion better!

Manchester United vs Arsenal to kick off the season – there’s something special about this match, because it’s almost never happened this early in the season. In fact, it’s only the second time in the history of the English league that United have hosted the Gunners in their first game.
Last time, in 1989/90, the Red Devils won 4-1 – and fans would love to see the same result this time around.
Arsenal have a real weapon in Viktor Gyökeres, who is always good for a goal. Nevertheless, I believe ManUtd will come out on top.
Over the summer, they worked hard on the weaknesses that cost them points in the Premier League last season – both defensively and in their build-up play.
If United take advantage of their home advantage and don’t give Arsenal too much space, the three points could stay at Old Trafford. The Gunners are not without a chance, but my feeling says: a narrow 2-1 home win.

Manchester United have had a convincing preseason: winning the Premier League Summer Series and beating Fiorentina – even if it took a penalty shootout – speak for themselves.
The new signings have slotted in seamlessly, and everything points to a successful start to the Premier League.

So the omens are good that Old Trafford will once again become a fortress right from the start.
Arsenal form check
Arsenal made a strong statement in their last friendly, confidently defeating Bilbao 3-0 – that definitely made an impression.
Nevertheless, there remains a small element of uncertainty, as they had previously suffered defeats against Tottenham and Villarreal.
These results show that the Gunners have not yet been able to reach their top form in every game. That’s exactly why I’m not entirely sure they’ll get all three points at Old Trafford.
The quality is undoubtedly there, but away against Manchester United, they need to be fully focused for 90 minutes – and Arsenal have yet to show that consistently.
