Fortuna Düsseldorf’s sporting director Klaus Allofs recently confirmed that the club was interested in bringing Florian Neuhaus back. But it won’t happen: “The file is closed. It’s clear that there is some desire there. But we know that it’s not really feasible,“ the 68-year-old told the Rheinische Post at the ”Rheinischer Fußballgipfel“ in Düsseldorf. ”We had a rough exchange, but you have to be clear: the decisive factor is what the player wants. The signals weren’t such that he said, ‘That’s it now.’”
