As Bayern’s sporting director Max Eberl confirmed, Chelsea FC has pulled out of the planned loan deal with Nicolas Jackson. “Chelsea informed us that they would like to have the player back after we had agreed yesterday,” Eberl said after the 3-2 win at FC Augsburg: “Now the situation is that the boy is here in Munich and we are sending him back.” The background to this is the injury to Liam Delap, who suffered a muscle injury and is likely to be out for weeks at Chelsea.
