Canelo’s next fight: September 13 in Las Vegas

The list of boxing dates for 2025 includes a duel for four world titles in September!

Saul “Canelo” Alvarez will face Terrence Crawford at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. Nothing less than supremacy in the super middleweight division is at stake! The fight will be broadcast live on Netflix.

Canelo (63-2-2, 39 KOs) is already the reigning super middleweight champion. The 34-year-old Mexican holds the WBA (Super), WBC, IBF, and WBO belts in this weight class and will now put them on the line against Crawford in the ring.

Terence Crawford (41-0, 31 KOs) is undefeated in his professional career, the current WBO super welterweight champion, and has already been undisputed champion twice: in the super middleweight and welterweight divisions.

If Crawford wins against Canelo, he will be the undisputed champion in the third weight class. However, Crawford is moving up two weight classes for the duel with Canelo. Canelo is contesting his 17th consecutive world championship fight (since 2017).

Crawford is confident: “My perfect record speaks for itself. I am the best boxer in the world – regardless of weight class or opponent.”

Boxing Calendar 2025: Eubank Jr. vs. Benn 2

The next important fight on the 2025 boxing calendar is scheduled for mid-November.

The rematch between Chris Eubank Jr. and Conor Benn will take place on November 15, 2025, at Tottenham Stadium in London. The IBO middleweight title is at stake.

Chris Eubank Jr. (36) has a professional record of 35 wins from 38 fights and is the reigning IBO middleweight champion.

Conor Benn has won 23 of his 24 professional fights and lost one – against Eubank in April this year. Now the 28-year-old is eager for a rematch.

Boxing dates for 2025: Next world championship fight on November 22

The next world championship boxing match is scheduled for November 22 on the list of boxing dates for 2025.

In Riyadh (Saudi Arabia), David Benavidez and Anthony Yarde will battle it out for the WBC belt in the light heavyweight division. Benavidez is the title holder, Yarde the challenger.

For 33-year-old Brit Anthony Yarde, who has already fought world championships against Sergey Kovalev and Artur Beterbiev but lost both world championship fights, this is his third attempt at a major title.

After his defeat against Beterbiev in January 2023, he celebrated three victories in a row. Most recently against Lyndon Arthur in April this year.

David Benavidez is the reigning WBC title holder. The 28-year-old American has won all 30 of his professional fights to date. Most recently against David Morrell in February this year, securing the WBA light heavyweight title.

Next boxing match in 2025 for Joshua, Fury, and Kabayel?

Many boxing fans are asking themselves: When is Anthony Joshua’s next fight? When is Tyson Fury’s next boxing match? And when will Germany’s heavyweight star Agit Kabayel step back into the ring? The answers to these questions are still open.
There is no date or opponent for Joshua’s next boxing match, nor is there a date for Tyson Fury’s next possible boxing match. It is also unclear when and against whom Kabayel will box this year.

However, Joshua is expected to fight again in spring 2026 at the latest. Fury could be a possible opponent – unless the “Gypsy King,” who has lost twice to Oleksandr Usyk, returns from his announced retirement from boxing. It’s probably just a question of money. However, he has announced that he wants to fight Oleksandr Usyk for the third time.

And Kabayel?

After his knockout victory over China’s “Big Bang” Zhilei Zhang, Germany’s heavyweight star Agit Kabayel has won the interim title of the World Boxing Council (WBC). With the WBC interim title, Kabayel is now the mandatory challenger for Oleksandr Usyk, who holds the WBA and WBO world titles.

After Usyk’s victory over Dubois on July 19, we could soon see a world title fight between Kabayel and Usyk.
