Following the dismissal of Dieter Hecking and two defeats under interim coach David Siebers, Bundesliga relegation side VfL Bochum has found a new coach. After Saturday’s away game in Kaiserslautern, Uwe Rösler will take over as coach at VfL on Monday. The 56-year-old most recently spent three years as coach of Aarhus GF in Denmark from 2022 to 2025, before which he coached Fortuna Düsseldorf for six months. Rösler has signed with Bochum until 2027.
