Dragan Stojkovic announced his resignation as coach of the Serbian national team immediately after the 0-1 defeat against Albania in the World Cup qualifiers. The 60-year-old, who took over in March 2021, announced at a press conference on Saturday evening that he would not be traveling to Andorra for Tuesday’s match. Serbia is already four points behind second-placed Albania, who have played one game more.
