Liverpool – Chelsea Tip Premier League, Matchday 36 on Saturday, 09/05/26 at 13:30 CET
A real Premier League classic is on the agenda this weekend. For both teams, the season did not go according to plan – neither nationally nor internationally. But in order to prevent the worst-case scenario for the club’s coffers, the Blues would at least like to qualify for international business.
This urgent need for points and the experiences from the joint encounters urge me to a Liverpool Chelsea tip with regard to Saturday, which is so to speak obvious!
Without thinking twice, I therefore decided on the combination bet Over 2.5 goals & both teams to score, which, entered in the Bet-at-home app, promises you odds of about 1.64.
Liverpool’s defence has rarely been solid this season, especially at home. In 12 of 17 games at Anfield, the Reds conceded at least one goal. Chelsea, on the other hand, have conceded a record-breaking 14 goals in their last five away games.
Liverpool vs. Chelsea AI Predictions:
Before we prepare our data model for the summer break and the 2026 World Cup, we had a Liverpool Chelsea AI prediction made with several betting recommendations, which confirms my suspicions.
I don’t commit myself to my prediction regarding the question of the winner, but actually Liverpool to win & both teams to score at odds of about 2.60 would probably be the better choice. Our supercomputer is right!
Chelsea is at a historic low point not seen since 1978. The most recent 3-1 defeat against Forest marked the fourth home defeat in a row – something last happened at Stamford Bridge in 1978.
Predicted chance of winning:

I rate over 1.5 goals per half as very promising at odds of about 3.35. Chelsea alone have conceded 3+ goals six times in their last eight competitive games – so there will be many scoring opportunities for the opponent over 90 minutes this time as well.
Then there is a bet on Over 3.5 goals, which also has a positive expected value at odds of about 2.07.
The first half of the season went “only” 2-1 to the Blues, but in view of the current defensive difficulties and the imminent dismissal of Rosenior, they will probably concede a few more goals this time. There is hardly any doubt in my mind about that!
