Borisov – Sion Tip Conference League, 2nd qualifying round, first leg on Thursday, 23.07.2026 at 19:00 CET
There are no two opinions: FC Sion goes into the duel with BATE Borisov in the 2nd qualifying round of the Conference League as the clear favourite. Tellingly, the away win rate for Sion did not even climb above the 1.40 mark in the first leg.
In my Borisov Sion tip, I assume that the Swiss will go forward from the start and that a high-scoring game will develop. “Over 2.5 goals” at odds around 1.75 is the right bet for this.
In any case, Sion has presented itself extremely aggressively in the most recent test matches. In the four friendlies so far, the Swiss have scored a total of 18 goals. So they are unlikely to hold back against Borisov.
Borisov vs. Sion AI Predictions:
After the World Cup is before the European Cup. Of course, our AI model knows this very well and provides you with further betting alternatives to the Conference League qualification in its Borisov Sion AI prediction.
Due to the low 1×2 odds for an away win, the digital brain switches to “Win Sion with Handicap -1”. The odds at the online bookmakers are about 1.65 and offer sufficient value. The Swiss can be expected to win 3-1.

Sion likes it goal-rich. However, their own defence is not always solid. In the last six games, they have only kept two clean sheets. The classic “Both teams score” is therefore a good idea, especially since the odds of around 2.60 were estimated extremely generously.
The special bet “Sion scores in both halves” is also interesting. The odds are just under 2.00 and are extremely lucrative from my point of view. After all, the Swiss will do everything they can to ensure clear conditions in the first leg – in both halves.
