The transfer of Christos Tzolis from Bruges to the reigning English champions FC Arsenal is in the bag. The 24-year-old has signed a “long-term contract” in London and reportedly costs around 40 million euros – the Belgian league has never recorded a more expensive departure. Tzolis, who once also caused a sensation in Düsseldorf and became the top scorer in the second division in the 2023/24 season, scored 20 goals across all competitions in Bruges last season.
