Next new signing at SSV 1846 UIm: Tim Schmidt moves from SGV Freiberg to the Spatzen. The central defender, who made 22 league appearances last season, has a contract in the cathedral city until 2027. “With Tim, we are getting a tall and robust central defender from the region who knows exactly what is important in the regional league,” said sporting director Murat Isik about the 23-year-old newcomer, who “fits very well with SSV in terms of character”.
