After two years in Turkey with Besiktas, former England international Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain (35 caps) had returned to the island and joined Celtic for the rest of the season. After the championship with the Scots, to which he contributed two goals in twelve games, the now 32-year-old has now received a new contract until the summer of 2027.
