Grant-Leon Ranos will play in the Spanish 2nd division in the future. The attacker, who was loaned to second division Eintracht Braunschweig in the second half of last season and made eight appearances there, is leaving Borussia Mönchengladbach despite a contract until 2027. “After three years, he was ultimately unable to assert himself with the first team despite his potential, so we wanted to make a consistent decision. A new attempt in a new country and a new league will certainly do him good,” said Borussia sporting director Rouven Schröder. The 22-year-old striker made 19 appearances for the Foals in the Bundesliga.
