Relegated Wolverhampton relies on familiar qualities in the Championship. As the Wolves announced on Thursday, the 39-year-old goalkeeper John Ruddy returns to the Wanderers and complements their goalkeeping team in the coming season. The Englishman was already under contract with Wolves from 2017 to 2022 and led the team to the Championship championship and Premier League promotion in his debut season with 24 league games without conceding a goal.
