After the end of his contract with Real Madrid, Daniel Carvajal was looking for a new club – and has now found it after a long wait. The 34-year-old returns to La Liga and signs with FC Getafe. There has been an agreement between the two parties for days, only the approval of the financial control body of La Liga was still pending due to the salary cap that exists in Spain. Now there is the green light – and Carvajal has signed a contract in Getafe until June 2027.
