Unai Emery has been at the helm of Aston Villa since 2022 – and successfully. The former Villarreal, Arsenal, PSG and Sevilla coach has lifted the Villans back into the Champions League in 2025 after 42 years. The club is also currently represented in the Champions League – in a strong 6th place. Now, according to the BBC, a contract extension of his working paper, which runs until 2029 anyway, has been initiated, completion still pending. Villa and Emery would also dispel rumours of a Man United commitment.
