U-19 international Niklas Scheller has signed his first professional contract with Eintracht Frankfurt. The homegrown player has been at the club since 2018 and, at the age of 18, is a regular at Frankfurt’s second team in the Regionalliga Südwest this season. “He is a boy from the region and thus a prime example of our training philosophy at the youth performance centre. In the U21s, Niklas still has the opportunity to gain playing time at a high level in order to continuously work his way up to the demands of professional football,” said sporting director Timmo Hardung in the press release. The SGE did not announce a term.
