VfB Stuttgart summer schedule 2024: Training starts on July 4
The first date on the VfB Stuttgart 2024 summer schedule is already at the beginning of July.
Coach Sebastian Hoeneß will welcome his players to the first training session on July 4.
The day before, the obligatory performance diagnostics take place, during which the fitness and health values of the VfB professionals present are recorded. European Championship participants such as Maximilian Mittelstädt, Deniz Undav and Chris Führich will not be present, nor will Waldemar Anton and Serhou Guirassy, who have moved to Borussia Dortmund.
Three days later, VfB Stuttgart will play the first of a total of six test matches in their summer preparations. On July 7, VfB will play the JAKO test match at 3 p.m. at Oberliga club FSV Hollenbach.
One week later, the first test of this year’s Stuttgart 2024 summer schedule will take place.
Stuttgart will play a test match at Swiss Super League club FC Luzern on July 13. Kick-off in Lucerne is at 15:00.
Another week later, they will face Fortuna Sittard from the Dutch Eredivisie on Saturday (July 20) at 2:00 p.m. in Heilbronn at the Frankenstadion
Asia trip: The VfB training camp in Japan
The next date in VfB’s 2024 summer schedule is the trip to Asia. The Stuttgart squad will complete the training camp in Japan from July 25 to August 2. The two stops are Kyoto and Hiroshima.
Two Stuttgart test matches are also scheduled during this period. The first test match on Japanese soil will take place on July 28 at Kyoto Sanga F.C.. The second will take place on August 2 at Sanfrecce Hiroshima.
In addition, VfB will train at the respective venues on the tour, sometimes in public, in order to present itself to the Japanese fans, and will complete a wide-ranging supporting program in cooperation with the Bundesliga and VfB partners.
