According to coach Claus-Dieter Wollitz, goalkeeper Alexander Sebald is facing an extension of his contract with third-division promoted Energie Cottbus, which expires in the summer, at the matchday press conference on Thursday. The Lusatians had reached an agreement with the 28-year-old during the international break, but the new working paper still had to be signed. “We are very happy about it,” said Wollitz, who described his number 2 as an “important piece of the mosaic”. The undisputed number 1 in Cottbus is currently Elias Bethke.
