Serbian striker Luka Jovic has extended his contract with Greek champions AEK as expected. The former Frankfurt player agreed with the Athens club on a contract until 2029. Last summer, the 28-year-old came on a free transfer. Jovic was already completely convincing in his first season in Athens, contributing 21 goals (five assists) in 43 competitive games. After the championship title last season, AEK is back in the league phase of the Champions League for the first time since 2018.
