Serie A newcomers Pisa have made a notable transfer. They have signed 39-year-old Raul Albiol, whose contract with Villarreal CF expired in the summer after six years. However, the club did not disclose the length of the contract. For the former Real Madrid defender (2009 to 2013), this is his second spell in Italy after his time in Naples (2013 to 2019).
