Champions League, Tuesday, 26.11.2024 at 21:00
The final of 2020 is back on! In our Champions League tips, two absolute top clubs are under a bit of pressure on Tuesday, as the results have not turned out as desired. Who will that affect more in my Bayern PSG betting tip?
Munich naturally have the home advantage on their side, having already won twice at home in the current competition. The visitors from the French capital, on the other hand, have just one three-pointer to their name. In my analysis, I’ll now prepare all the facts to tell you why I’m not betting on a spectacle here:
My betting recommendation for you is “Under 3.5 goals”. The direct duels between the two teams are usually not quite as turbulent, and nobody wants to make the first mistake of the game.
Incidentally, the Bayern PSG odds are relatively clear, which may come as a surprise to some. If you search our bookmakers, you will find an average of 1.60 to 4.90.
Why are Munich so clearly ahead? That’s what I want to find out in my current prediction. I’m expecting a very close affair and, given my “Under 3.5 goals” bet, I don’t want to commit myself to who will come out on top in the end!
The bookmakers’ prediction
Namely, we can expect a match of equals – but our bookmakers seem to have a different opinion! A win for Munich only has odds of 1.60.
After just one win from four games, the Parisians, on the other hand, have to live with the fact that they are the underdogs. If you want to bet on an away win, you will be offered odds of 4.90.
Neither club would probably be satisfied with a draw. It is interesting to note that there have hardly been any point-splits in direct duels. This time a point for both would lead to odds of 4.40.
KI prediction Bayern vs PSG: This is what ChatGPT
For artificial intelligence, a Champions League week is of course particularly exciting. I asked ChatGPT which bets are in focus for Tuesday, again with the three different risk levels, of course.
“Half-time/final score x/1”? This is the first bet I have for you. Will Bayern really push forward after the break? The visitors have never been ahead at half-time! However, I believe that FCB will set the course for victory in the first 45 minutes.
The medium risk says that Bayern will win in the end and we will see more than 2.5 goals. I’m a bit skeptical here, as the last three duels have only featured four goals. Therefore, I would perhaps rather bet on “under 2.5 goals”.
Will both score? The BTS bet remains close to the 1.5 mark. Nevertheless, I’m not entirely sure whether it will be correct in the end. There haven’t been that many goals on both sides in this duel yet!
Analysis: Bayern vs PSG
The atmosphere at the Isar is right again! Things are going very well at FC Bayern at the moment, and that should of course continue in all competitions. After the 3-0 win against FC Augsburg in the Bundesliga, it’s back to the European Cup.
It was a hard-fought victory that included two penalties and two goals in stoppage time. After the international break, it is often difficult to get back into the old rhythm.
The German record champions have won all of their last five league games without conceding a goal. A broad chest is important for the Champions League, as Bayern have already lost two of their four games here!
After the 9:2 gala against Dinamo Zagreb in the opener, they lost 1:0 to Aston Villa, followed by a 4:1 defeat against FC Barcelona, which raised many question marks. The counterattack: A thin 1-0 win against Benfica Lisbon.
Ratings analysis
Since there haven’t really been many spectacles between FCB and PSG in recent years, I’d be relatively cautious. I could therefore imagine that no goals have been scored at half-time. There are odds of 3.90 for 0-0 at the break.
If you want to reduce the risk a little in this respect, you can also agree on a draw at the break. At Betano, the corresponding value is 2.55, and the welcome bonus is also available here.
If I had to settle on a result bet, I would be 1:0 for Munich, as they have won two of the last three head-to-head duels in this way. If you have this result in mind, you can look forward to odds of 10.5.
Bayern vs. PSG: Labor victory or spectacle?
Two goals from the last three games? That doesn’t really match Munich’s attacking qualities. They have scored 36 goals in the Bundesliga, which equates to almost 3.5 goals per game.
Of course, Harry Kane deserves special mention here. The striker has already scored 20 goals in competitive matches and is also a hot candidate to score on Tuesday. You can secure 1.85 at Bet365 if Kane nets against PSG.
Will Vincent Kompany be able to field his best eleven? Joao Palinha will definitely be missing and there is still a question mark over Mathys Tel.

PSG can’t win, PSG MUST!
Bayern are of course already well acquainted with Paris St. Germain. Not only because they played each other in the final in 2020, which Munich won 1-0 thanks to a goal from Kingsley Coman.
Five of the last six duels have gone to the Isar, and four of those victories have not even seen a goal conceded.
A win on Tuesday would be extremely important for Paris St. Germain, as their current interim record looks anything but good. They opened with a late 1-0 win against Girona, but after that the good mood was gone.
After a 2-0 defeat to FC Arsenal, they drew 1-1 with PSV Eindhoven and lost 2-1 to Atletico Madrid. Three goals from four games? No, that’s not what PSG actually want to achieve.
The team scored once before the break. So if you want to bet here that PSG will NOT score in the first 45 minutes on Tuesday, the odds at Betano are still 1.60.
The fact that things are going well in Ligue 1 is very positive on the one hand, with ten wins and two draws. On the other hand, however, it must of course be noted that the opponents there do not operate at Champions League level, at least the vast majority of them.
My Bayern PSG tip:
Paris St. Germain are under pressure, there must be no further slip-up in the Champions League under any circumstances. Eindhoven, Atletico Madrid, Arsenal, there were neither many points nor many goals. Three goals in the top flight doesn’t sound good.
FC Bayern are slowly getting back on track in the top flight, as thin as the 1:0 against Benfica Lisbon was. The attack can do much more, and in the Bundesliga we can see exactly that from the number of goals.
And yet, as FCB have already lost twice in the Champions League, there is a certain amount of pressure here too. That’s why I’ve decided against a spectacle. Since both teams must not make any mistakes, my final tip is:
The 3.5 goals will not be scored!
