VfL Bochum have signed 26-year-old midfielder Dani de Wit. The Dutchman, who is primarily at home in attacking midfield, comes from the youth ranks of Ajax Amsterdam and has played for Alkmaar for the past five years. He made 45 appearances for the Conference League side last season (twelve goals, five assists). However, the former U-21 international has been without a contract since July 1, which is why Bochum were able to secure his services on a free transfer. He signed with Castroper Straße until 2028
