It had already been hinted at, but now the Hanseatic club have announced the deal. Derrick Köhn is moving from Galatasaray Istanbul to the Weser on a one-year loan. As the Bundesliga club announced, there is now an option to sign the 25-year-old permanently. “Werder is the right step for me to continue my development at a very good level in the Bundesliga,” said Köhn, for whom Werder is his fourth station in Germany after Hamburger SV, Bayern Munich II and Hannover 96.
