Lucas Brumme will continue to play for Rot-Weiss Essen in the coming season. As the third division club announced on Thursday evening, the 25-year-old has extended his expiring contract. Brumme arrived at Hafenstrasse from Wiesbaden in the summer of 2023 and immediately became a regular on the left flank. He has made 29 league appearances so far this season, scoring three goals and making six assists.
