Even after their win last weekend in Serie A, the “Rossoneri” do not give the impression that they are actually in contention for an attack on the Scudetto. The chemistry between players and coach is simply not right.
I am still of the opinion that AC functioned better under Stefano Pioli – something that the win at Real Madrid has not changed for the time being.
According to my Cagliari AC Milan betting tip, it should now be enough for an unpleasant victory over another relegation candidate, but I prefer to hedge my bets on Saturday with the “Under 2.5 goals” option.
Let’s start with Cagliari. The home side are the only club in the league to have lost their last three Serie A games – and that makes them a serious relegation candidate.

The performances of attacking talents such as Marin and Piccoli have been disappointing so far, with both players scoring just two goals each, making them the only multiple-goal scorers so far this season.
Such a weak attack will not last long in Serie A; the worries about relegation are more than justified.
Moving on to Milan, who in my opinion should hire a new coach before the end of the season to really live up to the board’s high expectations.
Because their domestic performances so far have not been good enough for a club with such high ambitions. Their last Serie A appearance was a narrow 1:0 win against AC Monza, which was not exactly convincing.
Milan have often shown themselves capable of dominating games in the past, but have lacked their usual punch of late.
It could be a similar story against Cagliari, as the players just don’t seem to respond to Fonseca’s game plan.

Could the unexpectedly successful trip have an impact on the outcome of the game? Not even necessarily in a positive way, as AC had coincidentally lost their last two Serie A appearances after playing in the top flight …
