Dani Ceballos will not be moving to Olympique Marseille after all; the transfer has fallen through. The French club had targeted the Real player as a replacement for Adrien Rabiot, but then changed their minds. “He has stayed here and is part of the squad. I’m glad he’s here,” Real coach Xabi Alonso said on Friday. “He should explain the details of what happened himself, but it seems that the decision is final.” The 29-year-old, who had also been linked with his former club Betis, still has a contract with Los Blancos until 2027.
