Rodri’s (29) contract with Manchester City expires in the summer of 2027. In an interview with “Onda Cero”, the midfielder once again stressed that he wants to return to Spain one day. A move to Real Madrid is definitely an option for him, even though he once played for city rivals. “The fact that I played for Atletico Madrid doesn’t stop me from playing for Real Madrid. There are other players who have gone down this path,” said the 2024 World Player of the Year.
