The 24 European Championship participants are scattered all over Germany – whether north, south, east or west. Everywhere in Germany there are European Championship quarters (also known as “base camps”) where the teams are preparing for the upcoming matches.

Where is the German team staying at the European Championships?
The most important information for German soccer fans regarding the 2024 European Championship is: The DFB team has its base camp in Herzogenaurach during the EURO.
The German national team was already based at the Adidas “Home Ground” during the EURO 2021.
On June 1, the DFB squad will move in under the direction of national coach Julian Nagelsmann. Before that, the DFB EURO 2024 schedule for the team includes a training camp in Thuringia at the Weimarer Land Spa and Golf Resort in Blankenhain from 26 to 31 May
Where are the superstars and European Championship favorites staying during the finals?
The defending champions Italy will be pitching their tents in Iserlohn in North Rhine-Westphalia from June 7. This location was chosen due to its convenient proximity to the cities of Dortmund and Gelsenkirchen, where the Squadra Azzurra’s European Championship matches are scheduled for Euro 2024.
Top favorite France with superstar Kylian Mbappe will be staying at the Best Western Premier Parkhotel & Spa in tranquil Bad Lippspringe. Cristiano Ronaldo and a Portuguese colleague will also be staying here in North Rhine-Westphalia, where there are a total of five EURO 2024 accommodations – at Klosterpforte in Marienfeld. The Selecao also stayed there during the 2006 World Cup.
A little further away from these three EURO 2024 favorites are the English.
The team led by Harry Kane and Jude Bellingham has its EURO 2024 base camp in Blankenhain in Thuringia – exactly where the German team is holding its training camp at the end of May.
Two other title contenders have their EM 2024 quarters in Baden-Würtemberg. Team Spain has its “main residence” during the European Championships in Donaueschingen and Belgium is based in Ludwigsburg. The Denmark team will also be staying in Ba-Wü, in Freudenstadt in the Black Forest.
The Netherlands has its European Championship 2024 base in Wolfsburg. Bonds coach Ronald Koeman’s Elftal will be staying at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel and training at the AOK Stadium of the Wolfsburg Bundesliga women’s team
EM 2024 accommodation – where will the national teams be staying during the EUROs?
A total of five EURO 2024 accommodations have been booked in Bavaria, the largest federal state in Germany – in addition to Germany, Hungary (Weiler im Allgäu), Serbia (Augsburg), Romania (Würzburg) and Scotland (Garmisch-Partenkirchen), Germany’s opponent in the opening match of the EURO on June 14, will be staying here during the tournament.
The Austrian national team with German team manager Ralf Rangnick will set up their base camp in Berlin in a hotel in Berlin-Grunewald. They will move in on June 12.
The ÖFB squad will complete their training sessions in the stadium on the pitch in the Olympiapark, where Hertha BSC’s second team usually plays in the fourth-tier Regionalliga Nordost.
The choice of Berlin is an obvious one for the Austrians, as two of their three matches in the Euro 2024 group stage are scheduled to be played in Berlin’s Olympic Stadium.
There is only one other team in the region around the capital, Croatia. The Croatian national team, led by captain Luka Modric, have their European Championship base in Neuruppin and complete their training sessions in the Volksparkstadion there.
While Turkey will be based in Barsinghausen (Sporthotel Fuchsbachtal) in Lower Saxony, Switzerland will be staying at the Waldhotel in Degerloch during the tournament in Baden-Württemberg and will hold their training sessions at the Gazi Stadium, the home ground of Stuttgarter Kickers.
The Czech Republic will be the most northerly of all EURO 2024 hosts – in Hamburg at the Steigenberger Hotel. The training sessions will take place at the Edmund-Plambek-Stadion of Eintracht Norderstedt in Schleswig-Holstein
