Luisa Wensing (31) of SC Freiburg will end her career in the summer. The club made the announcement on Wednesday. “I am proud and grateful for all that I have been able to achieve and experience. I’ve met great people and experienced unforgettable moments with them that I’ll remember fondly,” said the defender. She played 22 international matches and won the European Championship title with the DFB team in 2013. At club level, Wensing won the Champions League twice, four league titles and six DFB Cup victories
