EM tips today – predictions for June 20
After Tuesday brought us only two preliminary round matches at the end of matchday 1, it’s back to the usual 3-game rhythm.
All the more reason for you to call up our clear daily summary of today’s European Championship betting and at the same time take a look at the latest European Championship free bets and European Championship 2024 bonus offers from the bookmakers.
Because there’s just as much competition between the bookmakers as there is on the pitch!
Tonight, I’m looking forward to the events in the Veltins-Arena to see whether my meticulously researched European Championship prediction for the clash between Spain and Italy actually comes true …
Slovenia – Serbia Euro tip
Isabella has opted for the bet “Draw between Slovenia and Serbia” based on several influential factors.
The current situation is particularly important to her: Serbia urgently need a win after losing their opening game against England. She therefore expects an improved performance on matchday 2.
Although Slovenia, led by Jan Oblak, put in a strong defensive performance against Denmark and are unbeaten in 2024 so far, Isabella believes that SRB are better overall and will be stronger in attack.
Nevertheless, she predicts that the teams will share the points and prefers betting options such as “draw at half-time and after 90 minutes” at attractive odds of 5.20.
Incidentally, she does not expect it to be a high-scoring game, based on the performances of both teams at this European Championship so far. For the bet on “Under 2.5 goals”, she has quoted odds of around 1.75.
Overall, she tends to predict a close 1:1 for the match and considers this result to be the most likely outcome option.
Denmark – England Euro prediction
In this match, I have decided to predict that Denmark and England will score less than three goals in total.
My decision is based on the fact that I expect an extremely close game in which the low England odds of around 1.57 no longer appeal to me after the events of matchday 1.
I would only recommend such a bet if I seriously expected the Three Lions to put in a convincing performance, which I strongly doubt this afternoon.
I therefore find speculating on a possible draw particularly interesting, especially as the win factor for a successful Tip X bet is around 4.0.
I’m also focusing on a special bet that foresees a 0:0 score at the break, as I also expect a slow start and few offensive actions in the first half.
In fact, there are several signs that it could be a tough game, especially as England had very few touches of the ball in the opponent’s penalty area against Serbia (12).
In addition, just five goals have been scored in the last four meetings between Denmark and England …
Spain – Italy Euro prediction
Last but not least, I was also given the honor of writing a European Championship prediction for the most exciting match of the day.
I have decided on a win for Spain against Italy, without recommending any additional conditions such as half-time/final score or a one-nil win.
My decision is based on the fact that I liked Spain better on the first matchday and that the coach’s playing philosophy has now been fully adopted by the team.
The Spain-Italy odds for a simple tip 1 bet are also sufficiently attractive, as I doubt that the game will be as challenging for the Iberians as the one against Croatia.
I am particularly interested in a goal bet on Alvaro Morata, who has already scored many good goals against Croatia and could even open the game with a goal – his goal odds on Thursday are around 5.00.
Despite my great respect for the Italians, especially their strong phases against Albania, I am ultimately convinced that “La Roja” have the better chance of winning this game thanks to their current form
