On Matchday 2 of the Swiss Super League, FC Basel will be looking to pick up their second win of the season in front of their home crowd and establish themselves in the top group right from the start. Against Lausanne-Sport, Basel go into the game with advantages.
After FCB’s mixed pre-season, however, I am refraining from a classic 1×2 bet in my Basel Lausanne tip and prefer to consider “Basel over 1.5 goals”. I can’t completely rule out a 2-2 draw.
Especially in front of their home crowd, Basel owed a lot last season. Just eight home wins have been achieved. I therefore don’t expect FCB to be completely unscathed against Lausanne.
