Frankfurt summer schedule 2024: Training starts on July 8 & 10
The 2024 Frankfurt summer schedule kicks off with performance diagnostics on July 8.
After the fitness and health values of the SGE professionals have been recorded and analyzed, the official training kick-off will take place on 10 July.
In contrast to many other Bundesliga clubs, Eintracht coach Dino Toppmöller will be able to welcome the majority of his squad by then.
Only European Championship participant Robin Koch is not yet available and will only start his preparations later
While other Bundesliga clubs will soon be playing their first test matches, SGE will be training first.
Twelve days after the official start of training, the first of the five Frankfurt test matches this summer will take place.
The Eagles will play their first pre-season match on July 20 in the region at the Kreisoberliga club TSV Heusenstamm. Kick-off for the match is at 3:30 p.m.
The Frankfurt training camp in Louisville and the next test matches
From July 22 to August 3, a trip to the USA is on the Eintracht Frankfurt summer schedule 2024. For the first time since 2020, the SGE is traveling to the USA again, this time to Louisville.
In addition to training sessions, there will also be various marketing activities. Two test matches are also scheduled in the USA and Mexico.
The second of Eintracht’s five test matches this summer will take place on Thursday, July 25 against the Mexican first division team FC Juarez. The match will be played at 7:30 p.m. local time (July 26, 3:30 a.m. German time) in Juarez.
The next Frankfurt test match will take place the following Tuesday (July 30). Eintracht will face the MLS team Louisville FC. Kick-off is on the night of Wednesday (July 31) at 2:00 a.m. German time
More Frankfurt test matches 2024
After returning from America, there are two more Frankfurt Test Matches 2024.
On August 7, the Frankfurt Drby will take place against FSV Frankfurt as part of the 125th anniversary celebrations. Kick-off at the Bornheimer Hang is at 18:00.
A final acid test awaits at the dress rehearsal on August 10. The Hessians will then face Spanish first division team FC Valencia. Kick-off is at 9:00 p.m.
Eintracht Frankfurt dates: When are the first competitive games coming up?
In addition to the training camp and preparation matches, the Frankfurt 2024 summer schedule also includes the first competitive match dates.
Eintracht will play its first competitive match in the DFB Cup against Eintracht Braunschweig. The first round match will take place on August 19 at 8:45 pm.
A few days later, the first matchday of the 2024/25 Bundesliga season will take place. The SGE will host Borussia Dortmund on Saturday (24.8.) for the opener.
