Fulham – Arsenal betting tip, prediction & odds 08.12.2024

Premier League, Sunday, 08.12.2024 at 15:00

It’s about the position of the first chaser! Liverpool have just dropped a few feathers in our Premier League championship betting – THE chance for their rivals to get closer to the top.

The Gunners are seven points off the pace and must therefore extend their winning streak. The trip takes them to sixth on Sunday, but that doesn’t change the clear role of favorites.

In my Fulham Arsenal betting tip, I’ll tell you why I’m backing both teams to score goals here.

Arsenal FC have been narrowly beaten twice in a row in the Championship, and in 2024/25 they should finally be able to finish top of the table. The competition is, of course, incredibly tough in the capital.

The Gunners have already gone through their first not-so-great phase this season, having failed to win four times in a row between mid-October and mid-November, scoring just two points and three goals.

The Londoners put this little crisis behind them in the style of a top team, winning 3-0 against Nottingham, 5-2 against West Ham and 2-0 against Manchester United – the offense is back!

Ten goals from the last three games, more than ever before. The 5-2 win against West Ham was particularly pleasing, as it was the first away win since mid-September! Arsenal have a lot to improve on away from home

They had not won four times in a row before that 5-2 win, and both defeats, 1-0 to Newcastle and 2-0 to Bournemouth, were away from home.

Only in the first two away games did they manage to keep a clean sheet. Before the 5-2 scoreline, Arsenal had scored six goals in six matches away from home – now they’ve scored five in one go

And that’s without a second half, because the scoreboard already showed 5-2 after the first 45 minutes! Arsenal have enough exceptional players in their ranks, but no lone entertainer up front in attack.

Kai Havertz and Bukayo Saka scored five times, while ten other professionals netted between one and three times. Every fit man will be needed against Fulham FC, as Arsenal picked up just one point last season (1:2 and 2:2),

despite eight wins and one draw. Fulham therefore remain a favorite opponent, but Arsenal FC are still somewhat warned.

Our bookmakers with Apple Pay function don’t seem to be particularly interested in what happened in 2023/24. They clearly favor the visitors, sending odds of 1.60 to 5.60 into the race.

And that despite the fact that Fulham are not even that badly placed in sixth place. After the 1:4 against Wolverhampton and the 1:1 against Tottenham, they recently won again, beating Brighton 3:1.

Two white vests? Defensively, there is a lot of catching up to do! Only against Crystal Palace and Nottingham did they keep a clean sheet, on the other hand Fulham have always scored themselves since the 0:1 on the first matchday against Manchester United.

13:12 goals at home, 8:7 away? No question, whenever the Cottagers play at home, the chance of a spectacle is much greater! Only once, in a 1-1 draw against West Ham, has the 2.5 goal barrier not been broken.

Goals on both sides? They really ALWAYS happen when a home game calls! What has never worked: A brace of home wins. So it’s extremely unfortunate that Fulham have already won their most recent home game 3-1 against Brighton.

The last two home wins were immediately followed by defeats in the subsequent match at Craven Cottage – with at least three goals conceded. So I take a quick look at LeoVegas and see: Over 2.5 goals for Arsenal? This bet brings in odds of 1.60.

For Arsenal, of course, everything is still possible this season, but in order to really attack Liverpool at the top, the current series must be extended. It’s good that the offense is in really strong form.

Fulham are not the kind of opponent you want to travel to, but neither are they a club that will always be confident. The home games at Craven Cottage are anything but boring, Fulham are quite accurate.

Since I could also see that Arsenal have potential for improvement away from home and don’t always get away without making mistakes defensively, I’ve decided on the following tip:

Both teams will score!
