Turkish champions Galatasaray Istanbul are reportedly interested in a former German international: according to The Guardian, they have made contact with Ilkay Gündogan (34). After Cimbom were rejected by Manchester City in the winter for the 82-time international, they are now said to be making another attempt. According to English media reports, there is speculation in Istanbul that Gündogan is facing a season with little playing time following the signing of Tijjani Reijnders (26) and the return of Mateo Kovacic (31) and Rodri (28) from injury.
