Peter Zeidler has been relieved of his duties after less than five months at Grasshopper Club Zurich. The Swiss first division club parted ways with the former head coach of VfL Bochum two days after the 5-1 defeat in Lucerne. Zeidler came to Zurich at the beginning of May and led the record champions to relegation. In the current season, the start was unsuccessful with only two wins from nine games. Zeidler (64) was dismissed even faster in Bochum at the time – after seven defeats from the first eight competitive games (2024/25).
