NFL 2024/25: Giants – Cowboys
The Cowboys are on edge. Almost all of their superstars received fat contracts in the offseason, but the negative record after the first three game days leaves a lot to be desired.
And now they even have to watch out for the NYG! Because the New Yorkers have a real “wunderwaffe” at the wide receiver position, who, according to my Giants Cowboys tip, could catch the next touchdown on Friday.
At the moment, it seems like the wind in the NFL can change quickly. Two weeks ago, the Giants were still “unpredictable,” but after their recent win, they could actually beat the Cowboys on Friday.
Daniel Jones showed in Cleveland how important Malik Nabers is, who contributed to the Giants’ first win of the season by catching two touchdowns.
The situation for the Cowboys looks quite different. After a promising start to the season, when they beat the Browns 33-17 and signed their franchise quarterback Dak Prescott to a long-term contract, the defense has turned out to be a major weakness.
In the last two games, the Texans have allowed 888 yards of space loss and 72 points, resulting in a painful 25-28 defeat to the Ravens. The momentum that Dallas had at the beginning of the season now seems to have completely disappeared.
The Cowboys’ defense has suffered particularly through the running game in recent weeks. 190 rushing yards against the Saints and then 274 against the Ravens? That’s just not what you’d expect from a unit with their ambitions.
Dallas boss Jerry Jones has made it clear that they need to improve significantly in some areas. The players themselves, like Micah Parsons and DeMarcus Lawrence, are frustrated but know they have the potential to do better.
With four of their next five games on the road, the Cowboys face a real test. But this could also be a chance to relieve some of the pressure, because maybe they can actually regain some of their old strength on the road.
If the New Yorkers, on the other hand, play like they did last weekend and consistently feed their wide receiver with balls, then in my opinion they could even get the upper hand. But can they really do that?
According to the Giants Cowboys odds on most betting apps, no. The NYG are going into the race with a value of around 2.80, which automatically certifies them as clear outsiders.
But who would have given them a better chance of winning on the road in Cleveland a few days ago? Nevertheless, after the Rams’ success against the 49ers, they pulled off what was perhaps the biggest upset of the entire Week 3.
The Giants will not be able to pull off a really good running game against the Cowboys. In fact, the New Yorkers will now be extremely annoyed that they did not extend Saquon Barkley’s contract.
The running back was recently signed by the Philadelphia Eagles, who he almost single-handedly led to victory against the Saints at the weekend.
Bygones: I have found a suitable alternative on the Bet365 app for my Giants Cowboys tip, which could still help the New Yorkers score several touchdowns against Dallas…
The Giants immediately put him at the heart of their offense, with over 12 targets per game and at least 60 yards in each of his first games.
If Nabers continues like this, he could become the next big wide receiver in the league. All eyes are on him – and rightly so!
It is uncertain whether the NYG will be able to beat the Cowboys on Friday after 60 exciting minutes of American football.
But if they score, it will probably be through their reliable wide receiver, whose TD rate on the markets currently promises an attractive 2.62.
Conclusion: In my Giants Cowboys prediction, I make no secret of the fact that Malik Nabers should catch another touchdown. The wide receiver is currently the man of the hour.
Even if the Giants can’t capitalize on their momentum from beating the Browns, Nabers is expected to get enough balls thrown to him not to let me down.
Given the shaky defense of the visiting team, he should be able to pick off at least a six-pointer in the opposing end zone. His impressive form suggests that!
My Giants Cowboys tip is therefore: Touchdown Malik Nabers!
