Olivier Giroud will in all likelihood hang up his boots after the current season. “I think that this is most likely my last season,” said the 2018 world champion in an interview with “L’Equipe” on the occasion of his 40th birthday on Wednesday. Giroud has been playing for Lille OSC since 2025 and, despite his advanced age, has already been in the starting line-up three times this season.
