Moritz Heyer has a new club and it’s called SV Meppen. The 31-year-old was most recently under contract with Fortuna Düsseldorf, but has been without a club since relegation. Now the versatile defender, who has a total of 179 second division games and 103 third division games on his CV, plays in the same league as his former club. The direct duel is already scheduled for next Friday. First, however, Heyer will be brought back to the level of the 3rd division in the next few weeks and integrated into the team, the Emslanders announced.
