Jonah Husseck has found a new club: The 20-year-old central defender is moving to regional league club Rot-Weiß Oberhausen after announcing his departure from Borussia Dortmund II weeks ago. Last season, Husseck only made one appearance in the third division for the BVB reserves due to a serious knee injury. Oberhausen’s sporting director Dennis Lichtenwimmer-Conversano also referred to this in a statement: “Jonah has not had an easy year, but has been back in full team training since mid-January and impressed us with his performance in a joint test match in March, among other things.
