Coppa Italia, Thursday, 19.12.2024 at 21:00
“Magica Inter” is the only way I can describe Milan’s performance a few days ago. The defending champions showed in impressive fashion why many experts believe they will win the Scudetto again this year.
But will they manage the double? In my Inter Milan Udinese prediction, I do not expect the visitors to prevent them from reaching the cup quarter-finals. In their current form, almost nobody can beat Simone’s side anyway!
Inter Milan face Udinese in the Coppa Italia round of 16 on Thursday evening, and the signs are clearly pointing to a home win. After all, with their impressive 6-0 win over Lazio Roma in the league, Simone’s side have impressively demonstrated that they are a real force this season.
I don’t even know what to tell you about it, because I couldn’t believe my own eyes! Lazio Rome were inflicted with a historic home defeat that will not soon be forgotten in the Eternal City.
Six different goalscorers underline the versatility of Inter’s attack – practically every player can be a threat at any time. So it’s no wonder that some are already referring to them as the Italian version of “Clockwork Orange”.
With the Champions League phase not resuming until the end of January, there is also no reason for Milan to take a back seat in the cup ahead of Thursday. Especially since the Coppa Italia is traditionally a high priority for Inter.
A look at the current Inter Milan Udinese odds, which the bookmakers have called out without tax for Thursday, shows that 1.30 is still being offered for a home win – even after the gala against Lazio. Given Milan’s strength, that’s almost generous.
Udinese, on the other hand, have had problems this season, especially away from home. Although they have managed two wins away from home – against Parma (3:2) and Monza (2:1) – these two clubs are clearly fighting against relegation.
Inter will present a completely different challenge. What’s more, the recent record also speaks in favor of the home side: the last four matches between Inter and Udinese have all gone to the Nerazzurri, and each time the 2.5-goal mark has been surpassed.
This is definitely a possible combination option to keep in mind for a winning bet.
However, for my Inter Milan Udinese betting tip, I suggest something different: a start-to-finish victory for Milan. Inter are known for taking control early on at home.
In eight Serie A home games this season, they have been in front at the break five times and on four of those occasions have been able to defend their lead until the final whistle – both league bests in the respective categories.
A bet on Inter to win at the break and the final score therefore looks promising and offers a lucrative opportunity to profit from their home strength. On average, you can expect odds of around 1.88 on the betting markets.
One player to keep an eye on in this match is Lautaro Martinez. The Argentine striker failed to score in the 6-0 win over Lazio, but that could only motivate him further.
A goal bet on Martinez at odds of around 2.10 is definitely worthwhile in my eyes, especially as he scored a brace in the last clash with Udinese.
The Argentine definitely has the potential to shoot himself out of his little personal mini-crisis on Thursday and once again prove his class to the whole world.
Also interesting for your Inter Milan Udinese betting tip: Odds boosts are ideal for maximizing your profit on bets.
Bookmakers specifically increase the odds on certain events, allowing you to achieve a significantly higher payout for the same stake. They are particularly attractive on favorites or popular matches.
My summary: Inter Milan should live up to their role as favorites in this quarter-final. Udinese are not a team that will concede defeat without a fight, but anything other than a commanding victory for the hosts would be a surprise.
An early goal, a dominant performance and perhaps a goal from Lautaro Martinez – that could be the script for the evening. If you also like it a little riskier, you could also bet on more than 2.5 goals.
Personally, however, my Inter Milan Udinese prediction is primarily based on the following condition: Half-time/final score 1/1
