Following its relegation from the 3rd division, SV Sandhausen is restructuring in the summer. With two match days remaining in the current season, SVS announced that it would be strengthening its coaching team in the summer with Olaf Janßen, thereby embarking on a “strategic restart.” The 58-year-old is currently still at Viktoria Cologne, but his departure after three and a half years had already been decided some time ago. At Hardtwaldt, Janßen will succeed the current interim duo of Dennis Diekmeier and Gerhard Kleppinger.
