Former HSVer Mats Köhlert (27) played his last game on Dutch soil for the time being on Thursday. The winger is leaving SC Heerenveen and moving to Danish club Bröndby IF. This marks the end of the German’s six-year spell in the Eredivisie. Köhlert moved from the Hamburg SV youth academy to Willem II in 2019, where he stayed for three seasons. He then played for Heerenveen for three years, where his contract is now expiring.
