Last summer, Karlsruher SC decided not to offer striker Fabian Schleusener a new contract one year before his current one expired. Just two months later, he has become an indispensable part of the starting lineup. Those responsible are now thinking differently about the situation. With regard to the expiring contracts in the squad, especially that of the striker, Director of Professional Football Timon Pauls said on Saturday: “We will be engaging in intensive discussions over the next few weeks and will certainly be talking to Fabian, that’s for sure. The guys deserve that.”
