Chelsea icon Frank Lampard is the new coach of Coventry City. The English second division club announced on Thursday that the 46-year-old has signed a two-and-a-half-year contract until June 2027. Lampard celebrated his greatest successes as a player with Chelsea, including the Champions League triumph in 2011/12, and earned 106 caps for the England national team. He began his coaching career at Derby County and later coached Chelsea FC twice. He has been out of a job since leaving Stamford Bridge over a year ago. At Coventry, Lampard succeeds long-serving coach Mark Robins, who led the Sky Blues from the fourth to the second division. However, Coventry currently only occupy 17th place there
