Even before the basement battle at VfL Bochum, 1. FC Magdeburg set the course for the future off the pitch. Sports director Otmar Schork confirmed on Sky what had already been apparent: the interim duo of Petrik Sander and Pascal Ibold will remain in office. However, Schork is still refusing to make a long-term commitment: “The medium-term future will show how things will continue.”
